How Can You Help?

Campaigns cost money, and every dollar helps. $5 pays for one yard sign which equates to 5-7 votes for Janet. Please Donate Today!

Volunteers for Team Hays take on a wide range of tasks that all move us closer to an election victory. Many volunteers take on several tasks. With so much to do, there is never a shortage of ways to help!

Make phone calls to voters
Walk precincts and talk to voters
Enter data
Make phone calls to other volunteers
Work a train station
March in parades
Attend events and pass out literature
Look up phone numbers and other information on the Internet
Deliver and install yard signs
Assemble yard signs
Stuff mail

We also have Team Leadership roles available!

Yard Sign Coordinator: Responsible for making sure yard signs are put up and replaced when they are taken down. It is helpful but not essential for this volunteer to have some comfort with computers.

Social Networking Specialist: Responsible for social networking on Facebook and Twitter. Can be done from home. 5-10 hours/week.

Website Maintenance: The campaign website needs to be updated periodically with news articles, pictures from events, response to news items, etc. No coding or programming skills are required as you will simply email updates to the team web developer.

Event Coordinator: Responsible for coordinating events for the campaign. Should be organized. Must be a good people person.

Volunteer Coordinator: Need a great people person for this job. He/she calls volunteers and begs them to come in. Would also send the thank you notes and help with volunteer appreciation. Requires 10 hours/week.

Intern Leader: If possible, find a few high school/college students who will take on the role of recruiting interns. It is always easier for young people to find other young people. Need go-getters in this job who can be creative about where and how to find interns (Facebook, schools, ads, posters, etc.).
